Located 2 minutes walk from Penryn high street which has pubs, take aways, corner stores etc. 10 minutes walk from Penryn train station and 15 minutes walk from Penryn campus and 5 minutes from the nearest coastal walking route. Includes wardrobe and double bed but can be let wihthout mattress if you prefer to bring your own.
The flat is nice and quiet, a good environment for a quiet student or professional. I am away a lot so the lodger will have the benefit of plenty of time on their own in the flat but in my spare time I like a bit of classic rock, some dirty humour but generally I'm just pretty chilled and enjoy a nice relaxed lifestyle.
Room receives lots of natural light from two large windows and property benefits from private entrance to rear and private garden with shed.
Gas and electric will be split 50/50. Council tax and broadband are included in the price advertised.
Please note this rate reflects that the new lodger will have use of their room and shared kitchen and bathroom only. Also, I do not currently have any pets, however I lost two cats to old age in the past year or so and will take on another cat when the time is right so new lodgers must be OK with sharing the house with a cat.
I will be doing viewings 4th-8th August 2025, the room will be available for you to move into from the 9th August.
Please note I am a smoker however I always smoke outside, as much as I enjoy nicotine I do not enjoy the smell of stale smoke in my home or on my clothes. I'm fine if you smoke as long as you have similar values and we don't have any issues with smells/nicotine stains etc.
Also, the pictures of the room are from before my previous lodger moved in as he is still moving the last of his things out while I am away, it is largely the same but the carpet has been replaced and I will be repainting the purple wall where it requires a refresh but you will of course be able to see this for yourself when you view the property.
