Seeking a single professional female (sorry chaps or couples), to rent a double room in a shared house with my cat and I

You get a stylised, newly decorated, fully furnished double room, free use of the rest of the property and at least 90% use of a bathroom for your own use. I use my en-suite most of the time, aside from when I want a bath! There is also a third W/C downstairs.

It is ten minutes walk to town or Fistral beach or a couple minutes to be down on the Gannel.

I’m a relaxed house owner and do like a chilled out home. I enjoy occasional nights out and there is normally no excuse for a glass of vino, but I don’t bring the nights out back home and I have to stress it is a non-smoking house.

I have past housemates to reference and all my longer-term roomies are now great friends and visitors.

I am looking for someone who will appreciate, share and enjoy my home, as design is a passion of mine and I have done a lot of work to the property.

As I have done the work to the property myself, I do ask for certain considerations…
• Leave the kitchen and bathroom as clean as you would want to find it.
• As I’ve got lots of wooden surfaces, please use coasters and cutting surfaces supplied (they are plentiful!).
• My cat loves bleach, which is not healthy, so I ask you always put the lid down on the toilet seat; otherwise I may not have a cat much longer ☹.
• Again due to my cat, I leave my bedroom door ajar all night, so that ‘she’ can come and go, I want you to be aware of this in advance as I need someone pet friendly! She is also locked in at night and has diabetes, so I need to inject her every 12 hours, so someone amenable to an occasionally poorly cat would be advantageous.

I charge £600 a month in advance for rent which covers the use of the double room (plus a £600 deposit), fully furnished and the rest of the house, including the bathroom. It is more of a house share than a room in a house to rent; you have use of the lounge, kitchen, diner, conservatory and garden.
The rent includes:
• Your own off-street parking spot.
• All bills, I will inform Cornwall Council of you for Council Tax purposes, including gas, electricity, water, internet etc. (NB I do not have a land line).
• Use of facilities – Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, own shelf(s) in fridge, own draw in freezer, own drawers in kitchen etc. I don’t use Sky, but have TalkTalk channels, Netflix and DVD player.
• All sundries, loo roll, kitchen roll, dish washer tabs, washing up liquid, basic clothes washing tabs and conditioner (any specialist brands will be at your own cost).
• I have a big back garden and you may use it as you wish, in the summer I spend a lot of my time out there.

I have another spare bedroom and occasionally, if agreed you can have your visitors stay, subject to any I may have.
