Double Room in Thatched Cottage (Short Let)

The property is a grade 2 listed thatched cottage with a walled garden and gated driveway.

The house has an old cottage charm but newly decorated with new kitchen and all the mod cons. South facing garden, with table and chairs, is a great sun trap. At the back of the house there is a further lawn and views onto fields.

The room for rent is a double with chest of drawers. Large window with view onto fields.

Shared bathroom with bath and shower. Good wifi.

I am the homeowner and travelling for most of the winter period, so looking to rent out the spare double room whilst I am away (flexible with period). You would be living with my lovely housemate Amelia who has one of the other bedrooms.

From the door you have many lovely trails (the closest trail takes you up for an amazing view of both coasts). The house itself is on a quiet country lane with a few neighbours but very little noise.

Despite feeling rural you are well connected:
Nearest beach (Portreath) and coastal path is 15 mins away
Penryn is 20 minutes
Truro is 20 minutes
Falmouth is 22-25 minutes
Newquay just under 30 minutes
St Ives 32 minutes

Quick connection to the A30. Essentially you are in the middle of this area of Cornwall which makes exploring either coast easy.

Please note that the cottage is not in St Day, it is a small hamlet close by which I wasn't able to select for the listing. You would need a car to live here in my opinion.

Rent includes bills.

I think it would suit someone relocating and looking for something as an 'inbetween' solution or alternatively someone wanting to test out living in Cornwall.

Looking for a likeminded female that wants to live in a clean and tidy cosy house :-) No pets possible as I have two quiet dogs who, depending on the dates, may cross over into some of the period you would be here.
