Single Room in Thatched Cottage

The property is a grade 2 listed thatched cottage with a walled garden and gated driveway. The house has an old cottage charm but newly decorated with new kitchen and all the mod cons. South facing garden with table and chairs is a great sun trap. At the back of the house there is a further lawn and views onto open fields.

The room for rent is a single with chest of drawers. Lovely view onto the walled front garden. It is a small space but happy to discuss adding more furniture etc, whatever is needed to make you feel at home.

Shared bathroom with bath and shower. Good wifi.

I am a 33 year old female, working full time online - I work a couple of days a week at a co-working and the rest from home, however I am often out and about and also go away frequently.

I have two weimaraners which you would also be living with - friendly and quiet dogs who are always up for some fuss :-)

From the door you have many lovely trails (the closest trail takes you up for an amazing view of both coasts). The house itself is on a quiet country lane with a few neighbours but very little noise.

Despite feeling rural you are well connected:
Nearest beach (Portreath) is 15 mins away
Penryn is 15 minutes
Truro is 20 minutes
Falmouth is 22 minutes
Newquay 30 minutes

Quick connection to the A30. Essentially you are in the middle of this area of Cornwall which makes exploring either coast easy.

Please note that the cottage is not in St Day, it is a small hamlet close by which I wasn't able to select for the listing. You would need a car to live here.

Rent includes cost of water and council tax. We would split the electric and oil heating costs dependent on time of let.
