Double Bedroom Available (Near Treliske Hospital) – Ideal for Female Professional at RCHT

A bright double bedroom will be available around March/April in a tidy, quiet, 2-bed ground-floor flat, just a 2-minute walk from Treliske Hospital. Suitable for a female professional or student. Strictly non-smoking household.

You will be sharing the flat with just one other person (myself), with occasional visits from friends. I’m a genetic data scientist, mostly working from home, but I travel frequently for work and holidays (both short and long trips). I am a vegetarian and live a minimalist lifestyle, which the flat reflects—calm, uncluttered, and intentionally kept simple. I’m friendly and easy-going, keep a busy lifestyle (work, yoga, nature walks, travel), and enjoy the occasional chat over a good coffee or socialising with friends at home or in town. If you’re new to Cornwall, I’d be very happy to help you settle in.

I also sometimes have a medium-sized, well-behaved, calm and quiet dog staying with me. The ideal flatmate should be comfortable with dogs—you’ll barely notice it’s there (unless food appears!).

The flat is well-insulated, bright, and relaxed in atmosphere. I’m looking for someone who values peaceful, tidy living, is considerate in shared spaces, and is mindful of shared responsibilities, such as cleaning the kitchen and bathroom after use and taking out the rubbish when I’m away. There is enough space for personal belongings and luggage; however, due to limited storage and no garage, this home is best suited to someone who prefers not to accumulate excess belongings, and appreciates a minimalist, clutter-free environment.
