Room/property accepting universal credit

Hi me and my partner are looking for a room that will take universal credit for a very short time until my partner gets back to work. We are trying to relocate to Cornwall as my partner has family there and the last time we came to Cornwall he handed 3 CV in and had 2 phone calls but unfortunately he couldn't get the job cos he weren't in the area but they did say that once he has something he will get the job that day.
