Gorgeous 3-Bedroom House – Looking to Fill Bright and Airy Double Room
This cosy Ormeau home, is a vibe! Fully-furnished with playful and creative touches throughout. The house has a single and a double room available for either a circa 2 months stay, or circa 6 months+
The house offers:
- A decent-sized kitchen that opens on to a little courtyard
- A separate dining room w/piano
- A separate living room w/ small TV
- There is 1 bathroom w/ a shower (no peak hour rush though, so you should have access when you need it)
- There's a washing machine
- Light-filled rooms painted white and have a bedside table and wardrobe
The location is fantastic—just off bustling Ormeau Road, which is full of great cafes, pubs, and restaurants, with gorgeous leafy Ormeau Park nearby. It’s a 20-minute walk through the Botanic Gardens to QUB and Botanic. Plenty of buses into town etc too.
Jenna is the housemate in the single room until Jan, she is a med student and almost always away on placement, or studying on her rare home stays.
As for me: I will likely be away until 2026. May or may not sublet my room (separate to yours). But in case we co-habit: I’m originally from the West of Ireland and have lived all over the world, so I enjoy learning about different cultures and languages. Teach me yours!
I’m a professional musician and composer, and while I truly value peace, quiet, and a calm home environment, I also love to share the space in a friendly, open way. I’m looking for housemates who are happy to chat, share meals etc now and then, and generally feel comfortable and at home with each other. Ideally there's no awkwardness!
Since I work from home, I’m certainly looking for someone who doesn't work from home (if living here for 6 months+), though we can negotiate if you have the occasional WFH day. I think it's best to be upfront about expectations to avoid any misaligned living styles. To show you've read all this let me know your fave meal. I'm looking for housemates who thread lightly, embrace indoor voices and are reasonably noise-conscious, especially given the nature of terraced housing in Belfast. It's actually an Access Need too. I’m a light sleeper and have supersonic hearing (a neurospicy blessing and a curse) - but otherwise I'm pretty chill haha. Definitely down to hang and having the craic is important too.
About you (if staying for 6months +): Full-time employed/studying and likely a creative and/or academic, and/or well-travelled, culturally/socially engaged etc. Ideally, you appreciate a balance between housemate socialising/chats and independence, and you’re considerate when it comes to noise. If this sounds like the right fit for you, I’d love to hear about you and how you like to live and what makes a home comfortable for you!
