Hello, my name is Peter and I’m the live-in landlord of a wonderful terraced home on a fabulous street in a quiet nook of North Belfast just off the Cavehill Rd.
I’m a 20yr resident of Belfast - Scots born Canadian raised, Caribbean roots - I’m a cultured, creative open minded male with many years experience accommodating both short & long term renters.
I have a good cozy furnished double room w a brand new double bed available for rent from 1st Nov.
I’m fielding expressions of interest from prospective tenants & can offer a virtual tour & an interview process for suitable candidates to discuss a prospective tenancy.
It is customary to provide you with a bespoke tenancy agreement with any successful application.
If successful in order to secure your tenancy, for me to delist the ad I will require:
- one full months rent £450
+
- first months rent (£450) to secure the tenancy so I can delist the ad.
eg) £900 paid up front prior to moving in cash, via Revolut or Paypal (flexible if need be)
Just to clarify, , this means you will NOT have to pay rent for the final month of your tenancy.

Property double glazed and finished to high standard throughout.
Bright communal dining area for meals
Spacious patio area with deck to the rear.
One shared bathroom w/ shower & bath.

For gas & electric, energy prices are subject to increases this winter - a nominal sum will be requested as contribution depending on usage. This is discussed as a shared household .
Current tenants: 3 males - one student two professional creatives all very easy going evolved gents. We all get along very well and are friendly respectful and community oriented individuals.
English & French spoken.

Im a home owner, & a laid back musician /writer & value my privacy. I do my upmost to contribute to maintaining a clean, comfortable creative space for myself & occupants and we all do our bit. We are all busy, super friendly & cultured “blow-ins”.
The property is a 25 min walk / 10min cycle downhill to the city centre & located just off Cavehill Rd between the Waterworks & the Antrim Road. The bus service to & from town is excellent with transport routes into and out of the City. The 2J on the Cqvehill Rd & on the Antrim Rd. 1ABCDEFG buses mean. multiple options from dawn to dusk. The property is a short walk to local amenities inc Tescos, Iceland & Fort William + Cavehill Rd shops as well as restaurants and bars.
Internally there is a warm homely artsy modern feel throughout the property & benefits further from a small rear yard, not seen in too many shared properties, this is ideal for summer months!
For any prospective tenant, a face to face informal interview is customary & potentially a one month trial available ideally w/ the flexibility a month to month lease to Xmas or beyond depending on suitability. Open to longer term tenancies if agreeable.
