We have a delightful, self contained, one bed detached stone cottage situated in our lovely garden in Brandon Village. It's next to open countryside with glorious views, in a conservation area, but Durham city is just a short drive/bus/cycle ride away, so you get the best of both worlds.

The cottage is perfect for an academic, or professional. You would not be sharing with another person, so If you are looking for peace and tranquility in idyllic surroundings, this is the place to be!

The cottage has modern, open plan living/dining/kitchen spaces, is fully furnished, and equipped to a high standard. The bedroom has a double bed with an en suite shower room, and we can provide bedding if required.

There is gated, off street parking and a patio area. We are resident landlords living in a house at the other end of the garden so maintenance is never an issue. For Council Tax purposes, the cottage is in band A, paid by the tenant.

Amenities are close by including village pub, award-winning community garden, supermarkets and independent retailers. There are lovely walks just outside the door.
