Hi, I’m Beccy. I am looking to rent out en-suite double room(s) to professionals in my home.

Located in a quiet rural village only 2 miles from Darlington centre with a village shop, gastro pubs and 5* golf spa resort (with gym) in walking distance in a small village community.

Darlington train station has direct connections to Durham, Newcastle, York, Leeds, London and the surrounding local area. Only 4 miles / 10 minutes from Teesside International Airport and an hour drive to Newcastle International Airport. Local hospitals in Darlington, James Cook and North Tees all within easy reach for any visiting medical staff.

The house is a large new build house with 5 bedrooms.

I am looking to rent out one or two en-suite double bedrooms to like minded professionals.

I am a professional living at the property, but I currently work away, only staying at home for short periods at a time at the moment. I currently live alone and use the other rooms as a study and a dressing room.

The available rooms are furnished, one larger room with king size bed and the other a smaller double. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom with shower. There is also a bath tub in the main bathroom (shared).

There is a large garden, living room with 65’ Sky Glass TV and kitchen diner with dining table and breakfast bar stools, dishwasher and modern appliances, washer, dryer etc, and a large driveway with space for 2 extra cars. The garage is not available for use.

I have high speed WiFi internet (BT Full Fibre 900) and haven’t had any internet issues working from home and running lots of streaming at the same time.

I am looking for someone who I can trust in my home when I’m not there. My parents look after the house for me while I am away and will continue to have access to check my post and for cleaning etc.

I work from home as a freelance professional advisory contractor, but as I am currently working away, when I am home I tend not to be working and catching up with local family.

I enjoy travelling, photography, music, walking and have a quiet home.

No smokers or pets or children. I love dogs but I have allergies, so I’m not accepting any pets.

I have rented out a room in a previous property, which went very well and we became good friends. I’m very independent and enjoy quiet time alone. You will have the property to yourself most of the time, other than when I’m home for a few months at a time.

I’ve used an estate agent to do the usual tenant checks and to hold the deposit, so you can expect the usual tenancy process for the room so I can be sure who I’m letting it to.
