We find it very peaceful and close to all local amentites. Within 1 minute walk is a bus stop (Buses a regulars to the town) 5 minutes newsagent, pizza shop. Within 20-30 minutes walk to the town center, 15-20 minutes walk to a railway station. The train station has regular trains to Bishop Auckland, Shildon, Saltburn, Catterick, York, Newcastle, Glasgow, Co. Durham and London etc.
