A 1-bedroom flat is available for sublet in Durham, North Road, for October and November. I might be available to consider subletting until December if needed.
Rates are £ 470.00 pcm for rent , plus £ 100 pcm approx. in bills (£65 approximately for engergy, £15 for broadband, £20 for water).
I am renting because I plan to be away from Durham in October and November for research purposes.
The flat is located upstairs from Rusty's Barber shop, right next to the Head of Steam.
Walking distances are 20-30 minutes to campus, 10 to Train station, 5 to Tesco in Market Place, 2 to the Bus Station.
The flat has one HUGE living and dining room, one bedroom, one bathroom with bathtub, one additional toilet, and one small terrace. The flat is exceptionally well-lit, with one large window in the bedroom, one large window and four smaller one in the living room, and a glass door on the terrace. It is oriented to the west, which means plenty of light in the afternoon.
There are storage heaters in both the bedroom and the living room, and there is a powerful air conditioner in the living room that doubles as heater for cold days. double glazing has just been added to the bedroom, so now it is very well insulated in terms of heat and noise.
No pets and no smokers.
