Cosy room for a Masters or postgrad student

A cosy bedroom available to a Masters or PhD student in my large terraced house in Gilesgate.

The house is near to bus stops and in walking distance of a small Sainsburys, large Tesco, Aldi and Lidl and approximately 30 minute walk downhill into the city centre.

The room is on the first floor overlooking the front of the house, furnished with good quality single divan bed, bookshelf, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and chair. It's quirky because the room is not rectangular.

The shared bathroom with a large bath and separate electric shower is on the 1st floor. There is also a toilet with wash basin off the hallway on the ground floor.

The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer. I've also provided crockery and cutlery and tea towels. There's a small table and chairs to eat in the kitchen or you may prefer to use the larger lounge/dining room at the front of the house.

The heating system was upgraded in 2019 to a combi boiler.

This house is only available to Masters and post grad students who can provide their student registration number to prove exemption from council tax.

I have a happy household with 3 postgrads. To maintain this harmonious household I'm looking for a tenant who is sociable but respectful of others and willing to take their turn in keeping the house clean and tidy.
