We are a father and son who co-own a house in Gilesgate, Durham city. I am an events promoter and my father is a retired school teacher.
We are looking for a professional person to rent our en-suite loft conversion bedroom.
It is the entire attic and is one bedroom and one bathroom.
The bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed, a sofa bed and work desk. There is ample clothing and storage space including one large chest of drawers and one small one.
There is a television, a bookshelf and 2 lamps.
There are 3 skylights in the bedroom with blackout blinds.
The bathroom comprises of an electric shower, a toilet, a basin, a mirror closet and 2 small chests of drawers.
There is a skylight in the bathroom with no blind.
This bathroom is for your private and exclusive use.
You will have your own personal fridge and freezer and larder space for your use only in the kitchen area.
You will also have access to a well equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room in the extension which leads out into a beautiful and well maintained garden which you also have access to. Plenty of fresh herbs growing in the garden you can help yourself to as well a nice set of patio furniture.
No smoking in the house.
Smoking is permitted in the garden.
All house bills including council tax and utilities will be included in the rent so you pay one fixed amount for everything.
We are in Wilson Crescent, Gilesgate which is about 5 minutes drive from town. There is a parking space outside the house and also a locked side passage suitable for bicycle storage.
We are looking to live with somebody who is easy going and who cleans up after themselves.
The house has Ring camera security.
The rent is £175 per week payment is made per calendar month.
We do not have pets but we do occasionally dogsit for a friend.
