The fully furnished semi-detached house is located in a quiet & safe area, in a friendly neighbourhood, close to the city centre (30 minutes on foot or a ten-minute bus ride to Durham station). The bus stop is a two-minute walk away. The house is a five-minute walk from the big TESCO and other supermarkets and shops. Easy access to the A1.
Excellent location for outdoor sports - several running and cycling trails are nearby.

The fully furnished house consists of two large double rooms & one single room, plus a nice, newish, reasonably well-equipped kitchen with a dining table overlooking the well-maintained garden and a spatious living room with sofas, comfy chairs and a table. There are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and a toilet, and the other with a shower and a toilet.

The single room has a single bed (the bunk bed in the pictures can be easily disassembled), a freestanding wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a bed-side table.

The rooms are sunny and bright. The house has efficient central heating.

I, the main tenant, am a very friendly, multi-lingual University Lecturer. I commute between Durham and Oxford (where my family lives). The second tenant is a mature international PhD student.

The room would be particularly suitable for academics, visiting scholars or other professionals.

All bills (gas & electricity, council tax, water and broadband) are included in the rent.
