Communal Living Areas
In the large living room, fibre optic broadband supports a 40" SMART TV system, with BlueRay/DVD player and Fire Stick, ultimately making documentaries look and sound epic. The remainder comprises a big dining table that is ideal for group work or come dine with me.
A well-equipped kitchen is being installed that includes a cooker, microwave, large fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. A breakfast bar is also provided for when the living room is just too far away.
The bathroom has a bath and a powerful shower with 24/7 hot water capability from a combi boiler.
Behind the house, there is a simple grassed garden with a small patio perfect for Pimms and revision or BBQs.
The Bedrooms
Both are big and well-equipped with proper desks, office chairs, shelves, loads of storage rooms and double beds with super comfortable pocket-sprung mattresses. Room one is split into a large bedroom and a big study.
The house Wifi signal is strong throughout and has unlimited Fibre Broadband to the Home rated up to 150Mbps.
Getting Places:
The house is a 5-minute stroll from St Bede College and 10 mins from the City Centre. Secure outhouse cycle storage is included for 2 bikes. There is on-street parking (no permits required) to the front of the house. The nearest bus stop is 3 mins away. Sainsbury's Local is a few minutes walk away and multiple supermarkets deliver direct.
Money Matters:
Deposits will be held in a deposit protection scheme (DPS Ltd) and a standard 12 month shorthold tenancy agreement will need to be signed. There are absolutely no fees. To ensure rapid communications all house members will be encouraged to be on a joint instant messenger group (e. g. WhatsApp) in order to flag issues and get them fixed fast. This has worked well over the last few years with internet issues being raised and sorted and a new vacuum cleaner provided.
Council Tax bracket A - Students are not required to pay this.
