Description
🏠 Spare Room Available
I have a spare room available in my home and I'm looking for the right person to share the place with.
The property is situated approximately 3 miles outside Durham City Centre.
It's a quiet, relaxed home rather than a party house, and there are already four pets here, so someone who likes animals is important! I'm looking for someone respectful, tidy, independent and considerate of each other's space.
💷 £400 per month, all bills included (rent, council tax, utilities, water etc.).
I'm opening my door for the simple reason that things are just too expensive these days. It would help me out massively, while also giving someone the opportunity to live in an already established home at a reasonable price.
You'll have reasonable but unrestricted access to all shared areas and household items, including the existing media platforms. Further details can be discussed with the right person.
I'm not looking to fill the room with just anyone — I'd rather find someone who's a good fit for the home and the way we live. If you're interested, drop me a message and we can have a chat. 🙂
A little bit about me first...
My name is William. I'm 35 and I've lived in this 2-bedroom flat for the past 9 years. I work as a Retail Manager in Durham.
I live with Nico (Dachshund), Nahni (Maltese), Nebula and No'mi (two black moggies 🐈⬛🐈⬛), so animals are a big part of the household!
I'm not a big partier and I'm smoke, drug and alcohol free. I don't have a huge social circle and generally keep things pretty simple — work > home > work again.
I'm gay, so I appreciate that may be a deal-breaker for some people, and that's absolutely fine. I'd rather be upfront about it from the beginning. Equally, it means the room is very much open to anyone within the LGBTQ+ community who might feel more comfortable sharing with someone who understands that part of life.
I'm easy-going and open-minded, and I'm completely open to people from different religious, cultural and personal backgrounds. Ultimately, I'm just looking for someone who's respectful, genuine and happy living in a calm home.
If this sounds like somewhere you'd feel comfortable, feel free to send me a message and tell me a little about yourself.
I've included my number on the, I'm too millennial to appreciate a phonecall, but feel free to message me on WhatsApp🙂
