Our house is in the middle of a leafy High Street near to shops, bars and restaurants, with links to Stockton and Middlesbrough and a 2 minute walk from the Tyne Tees Express to Newcastle.

Head of household is a sociable female and the house is very much a home as opposed to a bed-sit style setup. We've had the pleasure of sharing with some amazing long term lodgers over the years, with most staying for over a year or two. but we're certainly open to shorter lets, minimum three months.

It's a warm, cosy and very friendly household but it's also large enough for you to do your own thing if you prefer.

The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 large living spaces, a shared farmhouse kitchen with an open fire plus a huge back garden with off-road parking.

Bedroom 2 ( 1st floor):
Bedroom is located opposite the large master bathroom and is fitted with plenty of storage space, a washbasin, a desk and a very comfortable double bed. There's also a single sofa bed at the end of the room for visiting guests.

On the ground floor is a shared large country kitchen with open fire, a music living room and another TV sitting room,
There is also a large Tv playroom on the loft floor.
There is a separate laundry/cloakroom area with washing machine and dryer and a downstairs toilet.

Gas & electricity, Council tax, TV licence, broadband and Netflix. The communal spaces are cleaned once a week with lodgers expected to simply clean and tidy up after themselves in the meantime.
Cleaning, kitchen and laundry consumables are included in the rent.

There is a large garden and off-street parking.

We also have a lovely, visiting dog called Luna who hangs out with us some afternoons and evenings, so the house would be best for someone who likes dogs and/or is fine with having a dog around.
