I have a large double bedroom in a beautiful family home where all but one of the baby chicks have now sadly flown the parental nest.

The house is located on the Thinford fringe of Spennymoor and therefore ideally placed for a speedy commute directly down to the A1M, A19, A689 and A167, connecting all the local towns and cities that are nearby, especially Durham, Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Sedgefield and Bishop Auckland.

Public transport is right on the doorstep and services run on a very regular basis.
The house is particularly well suited for anyone travelling to the University buildings, Durham County Council or the local university hospital in Durham and especially those involved with the new Integra-61 development (Amazon Depot) being approximately only 2 miles away (less than a 5 minute drive).

The number 7 runs directly through Durham towards the University Hospital and County Hall.
The number 6 into the city centre past the University buildings and library.
Bus saver passes can be obtained for students which allows you to travel anywhere in County Durham for only £1 per day.

The house benefits from all modern amenities and is decorated to a high, but still very homely standard.
There is high speed wireless fibre broadband available, a choice of 2 comfortable communal lounges both with 55" smart televisions, full use of a separate dedicated laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and board.
A separate downstairs WC, rear hallway and handy cloaks area.

The large 30+ foot kitchen is very well equipped with gadgets galore, it also includes 4 fridges, an integrated freezer, dishwasher (not me personally), 2 kettles, 2 microwaves, double oven and plenty of cupboards and worktop preparation space.
There is a large farmhouse style kitchen table that seats 10-12 people or a separate high breakfast bar with stools for the quicker snack or a morning coffee.

The garden has plenty of outside space with lots of tables, chairs and loungers to sit out and relax whilst enjoying either a morning cup of coffee or a refreshing glass of something cold in the evening sunshine, no matter what time of day there is a sunny spot somewhere to be found (obviously weather permitting) from sunrise through to sunset.

We have private off road secure parking accessed by electric gates to the side of the house.

All bedrooms are decorated to an excellent standard, freshly painted and flooded with natural light. Comfortable beds, chests of drawers, bedside cabinets with lights, flat screen televisions, plenty of storage etc available too.
All rooms have desks, some have arm chairs to relax plus a few other homely touches.

Spennymoor is well served with numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, a public library, banks, 3x chemists, 3x health centres, 2x dentists, a large leisure centre with swimming pool and there are numerous gyms within a short walking distance from the property.

Viewings are always welcome and available by appointment without any further obligation.

Costs are inclusive of all utility bills (Gas, Electric, Water, Council Tax, Television Licence and Broadband).

Bedding and towels are provided on request.
