We are equipped to accommodate different circumstances including, lodgers, short or long term.

Stanhope is in an area of outstanding natural beauty , a 35 minute drive to Durham or Bishop Auckland and an hours drive to Newcastle .
There is parking on the country lane.
The cottages were built in the 1880’s and are surrounded by fields with nearby woodland, stream and river. It’s a very therapeutic and idyllic environment for anyone that appreciates the countryside.
There are lots of characteristic features that make it feel homely.
The lounges have log burning fires and all rooms have beautiful views .
Basic household bills are included. Longer stays will have a reasonable energy cap.
