Hi, I’m a sometime live in landlady - with 2 double bedrooms available end of April in a beautifully refurbished, 3 bedroom, gas ch house which overlooks fields and has country walks from the doorstep.
I travel for work and am looking for 2 careful, considerate, tidy female tenants or one couple who will respect the house as their ‘home from home’, happy to share the fully fitted kitchen and comfortable lounge when I’m around.
Rental of each furnished, double room is £175 per person per week to include: WiFi, council tax & all bills as well as regular twice monthly cleaning of all common areas. A deposit of £600 will be required from each individual to secure one room. For a couple to share the house rental would still be £175 per person per week with a total deposit of £1200.
The house would suit 2 tidy, respectful, post grads / teachers /medics / professionals or one couple looking for a quieter, clean, cozy, no smoking ch home with wonderful country walks from the doorstep, a garden and parking outside.
As Otto, the friendly Spaniel 🐶 is sometimes resident; perhaps best suited to pet lovers with no allergies!
The house is around 25 min drive to Durham (University & hospital), 25 min to the Metrocentre, Gateshead; 28 min to Newcastle Airport & 30 minutes to Newcastle City Centre; while Consett and Sacriston are both a 15 min drive.
The new, fitted kitchen includes washing machine, oven, induction hob, kettle, pans, crockery , glasses & cutlery, breakfast bar & stools. The lounge has 2 sofas, coffee table, lamp & TV
The large, toasty, warm shower room has a walk in shower with overhead rainwater as well as hand held shower.
Both rooms are fully furnished with double bed, blinds, bedside table, lamp, hanging space, full length mirror & desk - duvet & bed linen by arrangement - all ready to move in with just your bags!
Rooms available for short term: 3 month (12 weeks) let - where deposit and full rental is payable in advance; or longer 6 month contract - secured by payment of the deposit with rent payable every 4 weeks in advance and subject to renewal by mutual agreement.
