Description
This is a great opportunity for someone working in Derry City who wants to live in a characterful townhouse with lots of history and be within a 5 to 10 minute walk from the city centre. Free street parking available right outside. Large fully stocked kitchen with views of Brooke Park and great sunsets each evening.
As I will be away most of the time pursuing a PhD in another city, the new flatmate would essentially have the apartment to themselves for most of the time bat the occasional weekend or holiday visit when I will be back to be close to my family and friends.
Prepaid electricity and on demand in house central heating means that it’s impossible for bills to build up. Internet included in rent.
Overlooking mature trees and with views of the River Foyle.
Ethos of the apartment is a people friendly and pro-social but that doesn’t mean it’s a party house, as it’s also a house in which mutual respect between neighbours is essential. Extensive library, art and music collection part of the deal.
Would best suit someone who is familiar with and appreciates older buildings, rather than someone who likes the idea of living in an IKEA showroom.
Perfect for someone working in the University or Hospital but any professional working full time in the city would find it a lovely place to come home to at the end of each day.
Current double bed can be swapped for a kingsize bed if desired. A really great room to sleep really soundly in three storeys up with the trees and birds as your nearest neighbours. A very peaceful room.
Short term let over Halloween will be considered if we negotiate a fair price as I will be away.
