Single Room in semi-detached house in Burneside

My home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, within a welcoming community, in this village just north of Kendal. Burneside has easy access to the A591, the A6 and the M6 motorway as well as a train station, bus stop and an easy bike ride into Kendal.

I'd want you to feel like this is your home. You would have full access to a good size kitchen diner, utility, large lounge with wood burning stove, bathroom with over-bath shower and each room has storage space for you. There is a small drive and plenty of road side parking.

The room currently has a single bed in, has recently been decorated and looks over the rear garden which has a patio, grass and trees. A larger bed could fit in the room if you wanted to provide this yourself.

I’ve worked in the Outdoor Education Industry for many years and it could suit someone who works/loves spending time in the outdoors - there's a covered area at the side with a tap/hosepipe/drain and washing lines as well as drying space in the garden. It’s a really easy space to get things clean in! There’s also a dehumidifier for the bathroom or utility.

I can be away with work for periods of time so you would need to be self-sufficient and respect our home when I’m not there, as well as keeping it clean & tidy when I am! I value honesty, laughter and kindness and would want to keep in contact when I’m away to make sure everything is OK for you.

I’m recently diagnosed Neurodivergent (ADHD & Autistic) and my home is a safe space for all.
