Double bedroom available in a quiet 3 bed house with back garden overlooking Hammond pond park. Great location for nature lovers with just a stone throw away to the Lake District and Scottish Lochs and highlands. Plenty of walking/running trails, outdoor working out area and a coffee shop in the park. There are local shops few steps away. The neighbors are very quiet and friendly.

The house has a spaceous livingroom partially open to the kitchen. At the back of the house there is a big patio with a view at the park - great place to sit down with a cuppa or do yoga or other exercises. There’s also Finnish sauna that will be open from September. There’s currently one shared bathroom at 1st floor and 2nd downstairs toilet.

This is a clean, shoe-off house which is being cleaned once a week. Smoking only outside. We respect quiet hours at night. Pets are welcomed (depending on type and character).

You will be sharing the house with Mat, a bridge engineer, DIY enthusiast, nature lover, canoe adventurer, mindfulness and chi-gong practitioner. Mat is experienced host with many years experience in Airbnb/spareroom and occasionally Couchsurfing hosting.

Looking for responsible person that would look after the house and water the plants when Mat is away. Ideally someone with some common interests to Mat’s once.
Mo-Fr rent possible as well.
