I’m creating a peaceful, heart-centred home beside a beautiful local park, and I’m looking for a special person to share the space — ideally someone with an interest in herbalism, plant medicine, gardening, or sustainable living.

This is not a standard house share. It’s a gentle co-creation: a place for artists, nature lovers, yoga / meditation people, spiritual souls and anyone who feels called to live simply and consciously.

The house directly borders the park and the back garden is becoming a small sanctuary. We already have a finished outdoor sauna in the garden, and the long-term vision includes:

- A greenhouse for medicinal & culinary herbs

- A music / creative studio in the garden in natural building technique - mushroom shape house

- Artistic projects rooted in earth-friendly, natural construction methods

- Potential collaboration with the park community to re-introduce healing plants

Your contribution would support these living projects — not just maintenance, but helping a vision grow.

Someone who is:

- Happy to offer a few hours a week to garden / greenhouse / creative projects

- Kind, respectful, emotionally grounded

- Comfortable with peaceful living

- Open-minded, spiritually or creatively inclined

- Formal qualifications aren’t necessary — passion, curiosity and heart matter more than certificates.

The Exchange:

In return for your regular contribution to the projects, the rent will be significantly reduced or even free. This is a conscious, fair exchange — everything will be clearly agreed and kept respectful.

Location:
The house directly borders a local park, creating a feeling of living inside nature while still being close to everyday amenities. The Lake District is only around 30 minutes away, offering endless opportunities for hiking, wild swimming, foraging and deep reconnection with the land. Scotland is right on the doorstep, with the Highlands, ancient forests and lochs easily reachable for weekend adventures, retreats and inspiration. It’s an ideal base for anyone who feels nourished by wild places and wide open landscapes.
