Double Bedroom in City Centre Georgian Maisonette

Large, well furnished, double bedroom to let, in a lovely Georgian maisonette, right in the centre of Carlisle's Historic Quarter, between the castle and cathedral, and near to Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery. Very convenient for city centre, shops, bus and train stations, and all amenities, including charming local cafes. The house has many original period features and a loveable unique character.

There is a large, sociable, dining kitchen; a cosy lounge with original feature fireplace; and a large bathroom, with original roll top bath. The house has gas central heating and fibre broadband.

I am looking for a tidy, considerate and thoughtful lodger, who will enjoy sharing a unique and charming period maisonette. I enjoy living in a clean, quiet, non-smoking house. My girlfriend often visits at weekends and we both have to be gluten free, so a gluten free lodger could be ideal!

Monday to Friday lets can be considered.

I usually ask lodgers to provide proof of ID, income and employment, to enable the checking of references, before moving in.
