Do you fancy having your own comfortable room in a large shared house, situated below a ruined castle? And also the idea of having friendly, easy going housemates, and sharing living costs? Then this is the house for you!
We have a double room available from the beginning of April and we are Jenny, Jon and Joe, and we would love to hear from you if you fancy sharing our listed Georgian townhouse with us?

Cockermouth is a gem of a town with plenty of open spaces, riverside walks and a variety of pubs, bars, cafes and some great little independent shops, as well as the glories of the Lake District all on your doorstep.

For £290 pcm + bills £127.25 pcm, and a deposit of £200, your large sunny room and seperate shower room with toilet, are on the first floor. The room is also potentially big enough to be used as an office/ studio space if you work from home.

You will have a share of two huge living rooms and kitchen as well - think of chilling out in front of real fire, being creative, entertaining friends, good chat, impromptu house meals. Outside, we have our own suntrap of a courtyad garden, for sunbathing, evening drinks and BBQ's in the summer. There is also a parking space for one vehicle near by.

You can join in as much or as little as you like, but as the house is so big, you will not find privacy, or solitude, a problem either. Smokers are also welcome.

Ideally, we are looking for a housemate who understands and enjoys the benefits of living in a shared house. We all have an arts background, so the house might suit someone who is looking for somewhere to be creative. However, we also enjoy meeting and living with people of all ages, backgrounds and interests, as ultimately, its just about finding the right person.
