Big room in South Kendal

Hey all,

Looking for another friendly and wonderful lodger for my house in Kendal, it's a 5 minute walk to Asda and a mile from Oxenholme railway station.

There will be three folks in the house (in total), the basement room is available for rent and the other two rooms are upstairs. The basement has a king-sized bed, access to garden (and house if you want more privacy), a massive sofa, tv (HDMI link up to laptop), and plenty of space. Ideally you'd be under 6 foot 2 as the ceiling of the basement is about that!

There are animals! There's a cat called Cucumber who rules the house and a nervous collie who likes her own space.

We are looking for someone who can fit in in the house. Someone socialable, friendly, has a job and some hobbies or interests. Ideally have lived in house shares before. The two that live here already are friendly and tidy but equally like their own space. We're not party animals but we are socialable and friendly. We both are outdoor enthusiasts, care about the environment, and like having a laugh.

A few house rules:

No smoking indoors.
The lounge and kitchen area's are communal.
Everyone should be respectful of other housemates and you would be encourage to speak up if something isn't working for you.

We are quite a communal household and all believe in being a team player and doing our bit.
