Bright, Modern, Furnished Room

About Us
Hello! We are Ed and Charlotte, a couple of 30 something professionals living in Kendal. Originally from Cornwall we have settled here for the outdoor lifestyle, good beer and glorious Cumbrian rain.

The House
We live in a spacious five-bedroom property, with a large kitchen, living room and dining room. We have front and rear gardens with lawns, patio and trees.

The room available is recently refurbished and with a shared (with 1 other female housemate) modern bathroom across the hallway. It comes furnished with a single ottoman bed, shelving unit and wardrobe with drawers. The room is south facing and looks out over the front of the house, with views of the hills beyond.

This room is not suitable for home working.

The Area
The house is to the south east of Kendal, with good access to the M6 and a 10 minute walk from Oxenholme Train Station, on the west coast mainline. The town centre is a 25 minute walk along the traffic-free canal path, or a 10 minute cycle. ASDA and Spar are a few minutes’ walk away, with a doctors, post office and leisure centre nearby.

And You
We are looking for a female housemate to share our home with us and one other long-term female housemate. A professional or someone working in the outdoors would be preferred.

This is not a room for someone wanting to work from home full time, given the size, but ideal as a comfortable base in-between work and leisure.

You should be generally clean and tidy, easy going and sociable. House drinks, meals and adventures are in no way mandatory but are strongly encouraged!

We are in no rush and would prefer to wait to find the right person. We are not just looking to 'fill a room' :)
