Seeking another lovely lodger.
We live in a beautiful part of Kendal, close to the town centre (5min walk downhill), 2 min walk to a bus stop, and 15 min walk to the train station.
We live down a private drive with four other residences, all of which are quiet but very friendly families, so it's important that you think about whether this family orientated setting would suit you.
We’re looking for one mature and sensible person, to share the flat above our home. Our home consists of our grown up kids and two dogs.
We only access the flat for maintenance and recycling on a weekly basis. We will be responsible for cleaning the entrance hallway, but it will be up to you and your flat mate to clean the flat between you.
What we have to offer is a substantial flat on the top floor of our house, which consists of 2 double furnished bedrooms with the smaller double becoming available soon.
In addition to the bedroom there is a furnished lounge/kitchen/dining area, washing/drying facilities and shared bathroom (bath & electric shower)all separate to the main house, so only shared with the other lodger.
IMPORTANT: OUR HOUSE IS CURRENTLY FOR SALE, SO IN THE EVENT IT SELLS WE WOULD GIVE YOU A MINIMUM OF 3 MONTHS NOTICE (. if however the purchasers would consider keeping lodgers in the flat, we will ask and try and arrange this should you want it.)
Street parking is available 50 yards from the house.
The top floor is accessed by a separate entrance, so you'll be guaranteed plenty of privacy.
Strictly No smokers or pets.
Smaller Double room £600 Pcm in advance (deposit £600). All bills included.
Rent payable by bank transfer/standing order.
Rental includes council tax, utility bills and fibre broadband.
