Description

Available from late January 2020:- Just like it says in the title: you get a loft conversion in a shared house. Chinley is in the Peak National Park and is great for lovers of the outdoors, or anyone who wants to get out of the city. I have a old Siberian Husky called Frank who enjoys being fussed over. As long as you're clean and fairly normal, I think we'll get on just fine. For me, this is as much about a helpful extra income as it is about some decent company and hopefully that will work both ways. My previous two lodgers were here for 6 and 3 years respectively and we're still friends so I can't be too awful to live with.
The house isn't perfect and is very old, so wonky walls and strange draughts are all part of the experience. This is not a perfect, fault free show home! There's a log burner in the lounge which is currently roaring away and I'd say it's a cosy place to be. The loft room gives you great views over Kinder Scout and Cracken Edge. I'm a climber, traveller and occasional cyclist. There are a couple of good pubs nearby and a good curry house & cafe in the village. There's a railway station 3 minutes walk away on the Sheffield-Manchester line, and the A6 isn't a million miles away either.
