Spacious Double Room in Quiet House

Hi - I'm Mel and am looking for a friendly and sociable housemate to share the house I own in Swadlincote. Women preferred- No couples. High speed FTP broadband. I'm easy going and friendly, and share my house with two adorable cats - Queenie and Willow. I'm happy to socialise - sociable person preferred over a hermit - but I respect the necessity for 'own space' as I need that too! I am looking for an animal lover with an environmental conscience to live here as I'm big on energy saving and recycling.

Lodger's bedroom is furnished with double bed with under-bed storage, side table, large chest of drawers, and large wardrobe. Gas central heating throughout. Shared downstairs bathroom with bath and shower.

I'm a WFH freelancer but do work away from home a lot of the time so lodgers can expect to have the house to themselves at certain times, particularly at weekends. If you're home when I'm away, I'd appreciate it if you would take care of the cats for me.

The house is situated near A42 and A38 giving easy access to the East Midlands motorway network. Within walking distance of Swadlincote town centre and bus station. Great local cycle network and green spaces locally. Plenty of on road parking. Fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, large fridge and washing machine. Chest freezer in pantry.

Looking to share with a friendly soul who's clean, tidy, trustworthy, a good communicator and a reliable payer.

NB the room is only available until mid May as I have building work scheduled this summer.
