Room For Rent

We're Raia and Poppy!

We have a spare room for rent in our lovely two bed house (Council tax band B) located in Kegworth for £550pcm bills included, except council tax. Kegworth is a 15 min drive from Derby (public transport available to) and 20 min drive to Nottingham. Its a quiet little village, close to major transport links: 5 mins to east midlands parkway train station, 10 mins from East Midlands Airport and 3 mins to M1. Kegworth is also a great location for any Vet students as its 10 mins away from the Sutton Bonnington campus. There are lovely pubs and walks around Kegworth and it has a beautiful river which is a 15 min walk from the house which we regularly go paddleboarding on in the summer.

A little about us:
Raia - 27 year old Vet student in 3rd year. Enjoys being outdoors, animals, crocheting, raving, festivals, cooking, socialising, travelling, painting.
Poppy- 28 year old retail worker. Enjoys Hiking, animals, festivals, fashion, art, music, travelling, board games, gaming.

What we want from a housemate:
- Friendly, would like someone we can build a friendship with not just a housemate.
- Considerate, aware of their surroundings and cleanliness (we're not clean freaks, ok with a bit of mess but like the house to be clean!)
- MUST be LGBT+ friendly (Poppy and I are partners)
- Open to accepting pets upon meeting them (any small pets that can go in your room are fine would just have to meet dogs and cats that will be sharing communal spaces).
- 420 friendly.
- Understanding that there will be some home improvements going on e. g garden needs work, painting some rooms as we have only been in the house for one month.
