House companion for elderly gentleman needed
I am looking someone to share my house. It’s a spacious house in Kirk Ireton with large garden and view. The village is a very social community with a friendly pub.
I am still active, but need company and some assistance, mainly to cook meals.
Ideally this would be someone who is retired and will be around the house most of the time. It would be best if they can drive and can give me a lift locally maybe 2 or 3 times a week. I have a car that can be used although I can’t drive.
There is also a possibility for someone who works from home as there is a room that could function as an office workspace.
The accommodation offered is a room with en-suite bathroom. The shared kitchen and lounge areas are large and a very pleasant environment. I have 2 well behaved dogs here, and the village is surrounded by nice walking areas.
I have 4 sons; 1 of whom lives nearby with two children.
I am not looking for any rent payment but more for someone who can help where needed and be pleasant company.
