Lovely bright room available MONDAY to FRIDAY in a cosy home with good road links to the M1, M42, A50, Derby, East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington and Ashby de la Zouch. I've enjoyed sharing my home with other professionals for some years now.

Rent includes utility bills and WIFI.

LOCATION:
Melbourne is a vibrant large village with excellent access to nearby road networks, towns and cities. The M42, M1 and A50 are about 10 minutes from Melbourne. East Midlands Airport is about 4 miles away; Derby 7 miles; Nottingham 16 miles; Ratcliffe on Soar is 9 miles and Ashby de la Zouch 6 miles from Melbourne.

There's street parking available and the number 2 bus runs regularly to Derby.

WHO LIVES HERE:
You will share with the landlady and one other. We’re friendly, non-smoking professional people who enjoy sharing our home and we have a helpful, respectful and considerate attitude towards each other.

In the last few years housemates have worked all round the area including at Rolls-Royce, East Midlands Airport, Derby, Ratcliffe Power Station and Ashby de la Zouch.

MELBOURNE:
My cosy three-bedroom cottage is within the Conservation Area of picturesque, historic and Melbourne, with excellent local amenities. There is a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, take-aways and churches. Melbourne has a supermarket (Sainsbury's Local), library, Post Office, chemist and medical centre – all just a few minutes walk away.

There's an extensive Public Footpath network from Melbourne with a range of good walks that take you around the area including to Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold.

THE COTTAGE:
With on-street parking, this three-storey cottage was built around 1800 and combines original features with the more contemporary. It’s very much a home for those who live here.

FIRST FLOOR DOUBLE £350 per month Mondays to Fridays:
Bright, Spacious Double Bedroom (approx. 3.6m x 3.4m - 11’ 9” x 11’), with lots of morning sunshine. This comfortable room has a standard double bed, fitted wardrobe, separate drawers and a washstand with drawer and cupboard.

BATHROOM & WC
The Bathroom is separate from the WC and washbasin. The three of us share these. There is storage for your bathroom essentials.

IRONING & CLOTHES DRYING:
A special area is set aside for ironing and clothes drying, with clothes airers, iron and ironing board.

SITTING ROOM:
We share the cosy sitting room which has beams, a real fire set in a stone fireplace and TV with Freeview.

KITCHEN/DINER
Country kitchen with dining table and usual kitchen equipment, leads through a lean-to into the garden.
