Temporary, Short or Long term Room to rent

Welcome to my "project house" ad

A little about me - I bought a house, i carried out a full renovation and had a long term house mate. At the end of last year i thought go on another adventure, sell up and start again. So that's what i done!
My long term house mate moved with me, Lovely chap, has been with me nearly 10 years. Unfortunately he was made redundant last week and so he has made the decision to move back home.

Im in a position where i could happily have another house mate, However, the current situation may not suit everyone. Just thought id put out the option.

I recently read a forum from a fella who is traveling the UK, doing odd jobs, DIY and cleaning in exchange for accommodation. Id be open to this idea too.

So, the house!
Its a 3 bedroom, kitchen dinning, separate lounge, bathroom.
I do have a garage, and a large back garden, patio, greenhouse, etc. - So if you have green fingers, or fancy growing some veg bring some gloves.

As i said above im currently carrying out a full renovation, so thats everything from roof repairs to painting. As with all projects this is something that will be ongoing. So if you have a dust allergy, it may not suit you. However, if you have a flare for design and like colour matching or even fancy picking up a paint brush, continue reading.

I had a new full central heating system fitted this year, i am currently in the process of having a woodburner fitted to the lounge and some roof repairs done.
Along side this i have started fitting new power points, stripped wallpaper, repaired some ceilings etc etc. The list goes on but you get the jist.

The aim over the next few months is to have new windows installed, window sills, and once those structural issues are done i will be decorating each room 1 at a time.

Currenting im advertising a single room, however there is scope for the right person to have a double room in the new year sometime - Rent to be adjusted for this.

I have a 6 year old Cocker X and a cat (both male) - so if you have pet allergies it may not be right for you.
However, i am open to share the home with your dog - no caged animals, rabbits, small furry things - My dog would love to play with them and it may not end well.
My cat comes and goes during the day and is kept in overnight. I would not be open to further cats at the property.

Im happy to have a smoker, on the understanding you do this outside, or take a chair to the greenhouse.
Please dont bring your recreational drugs or any associated item to my home,

Has on street parking
Broad band.
The lounge has a TV, But I dont have any TV packages - Currently No TV in the bedrooms but working progress the power points are going in.
The current bathroom is a wet room - This is also on the list to be re fitted.

About me, I work full time for the NHS, when i talk to my dog i use a funny voice, i like building Lego models - Thats when the DIY allows, i drink Black coffee . . . .
