Room in Hele, walking distance to Torbay Hospital

Hi there. I have a room becoming available within my ground floor flat in Hele Road, Torquay. It is in use until 31/09/24, so am open to options of a new housemate from this time. Viewings will more likely be arranged closer to this time as a result.

The room comes inclusive of all bills including council tax, electricity, gas, water, TV licence, hi-speed broadband, Netflix and Amazon prime subscriptions.

At present the bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, new carpet, blackout blind and a room attached suitable for whatever use you require. I have used this for my bike previously with TV link up for indoor training, though equally serves as a storage area in what is essentially a room that houses the boiler.

The bedroom comes with its own additional entry/exit via the small walled courtyard area which you are free to use to relax in when the weather is nicer.

Shared use of the kitchen/dining room area, bathroom and utility room with 1 other person. Within this year, the shower unit has been replaced, new fridge/freezer and new condenser drier have been put in place.

Current housemate (until end of this year) is training as a doctor at Torbay hospital across a variety of shifts including long days, weekends and night shifts. The flat would ideally suit another healthcare professional or student working in Torbay hospital due to its convenient location nearby. I will consider short-term students on placements for the same reason.

Parking is not specifically available or allocated to the flat due to its location by the road, though there are convenient free parking spots within walking distance that I can show you, which I use every day.

I can add any furniture that is required or needs adapting including arrangements in the kitchen / dining area or the bedroom. i. e. can provide a work-desk or change of what is currently a 'snuggle' sofa. I can include a new supply of bedding and/or towels if required. Cleaning products I also ensure are provided where needed....
