Hi there! I’m Richard, a full-time teacher at a secondary school in Exeter, and I live here with my son, who attends the local college. We’re a friendly, down-to-earth pair—and we absolutely love having new people (and animals!) around.

We’ve got a spacious, un-furnished double room available, with ensuite - I am happy to furnish if required, sky and TV are in the room though.

The house has super-fast satellite internet, and if you’ve got a car, there’s plenty of room on the driveway for parking.

We’re in a great spot—15 to 20 minutes from Holsworthy, Torrington or Bideford, and only 35 minutes to Okehampton or Barnstaple. We’re also just a 5-minute stroll from Rowden Atelier and Shebbear College—ideal if you work or study there!

We’d ideally love someone in full-time work or studying full-time, but honestly, if you’re a good fit, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re very open-minded and happy to chat.

Whether you like to keep to yourself or you’re someone who enjoys a bit of a natter, we’re easygoing and respectful of whatever suits you best. We’re big football fans too, so there’s always a match on in the background if you’re keen for a bit of chat or banter.

Will give consideration to pets but extra £10 per week for dogs please
