- House share £550 pcm
- Bickington View on map

Description
Shared tenancy opportunity for an individual in large house located in Bickington in between Ashburton and Newton Abbot.
Long term house share in the large house I currently rent. The bedroom is a good size with great views of the countryside. It has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with toilet, mixer shower, large sink and two good sized internally built wardrobes with shelves.
The house has four bedrooms, two of which are en-suite and it is the second en-suite room I am renting out. It also has an upstairs bathroom with bath/shower/toilet and a downstairs toilet/sink. The house is spacious throughout with large kitchen, utility area, sitting room and a snug room. Garage at the front with ample off-road parking and an enclosed sizeable garden to the rear with decking and gravel.
The house is warm and cosy and benefits from oil fired central heating, hot water on tap and large gas hob/electric oven. Washing machine, two fridge freezers. Everything you need is here!
Things to consider... I have my son's who live with me part time so whoever moves in has to be happy with kids being around at random times! My boys are fantastic and easy to live with... one is 14 yrs old and the other 5 yrs old. They have their own bedrooms near mine which is across the landing from the room I am renting.
The person/s who we want to share with have to be the right fit... relaxed, laid back, happy to share with kids now and again and obviously being clean and tidy is essential. We love life, have lots of adventures and don't take things too seriously. We have a family farm on Dartmoor and spend much of our time up there so any tenant living here will have plenty of peace and quiet!
The monthly rent is £550 pcm and I would point out that it’s not just a room. It would give access to the majority of the house and it’s got everything you need including all the home comforts. It has excellent access to Dartmoor, the A38 and local shops and pubs. The rent does not include all bills but when shared they are relatively affordable even in the present financial climate. Every month a contribution to the council tax, (Band E) electricity and water would be required.
The landlady lives next door and we get along very well. We also have great relationships with our other three sets of neighbours. It is generally a very friendly collection of people in the area.
So if you think you may be interested in joining us, have a steady income and fancy sharing some laughs... get in touch.
Thanks, Dan
