There are nearby walks at Kingswood, the Mardle stream and the Rugby Field which are all within walking distance and Hembury woods with its Iron Age fort five minutes drive away. The A38 is a 5 minute drive making it easy to access Totnes, Plymouth, Ashburton and Newton Abbot etc. There is free parking on the road outside the house.
I am a musician and teacher in my 50s. I am interested in the creative arts, spirituality, diversity and social/political issues. I'm looking for a considerate, reliable, responsible woman who is happy in her own space but also friendly and community minded. I would like someone who is mindful of their environment and preferably who works out of the house.
I am a pet lover but as I often look after dogs here, (gorgeous waggy-tailed spaniels) I would prefer a lodger not to have a pet.
This is a non-smoking, non-heavy-drinking, drug-free, LGBTQ+ friendly home.
I will be asking for one month's rent deposit and two references.
