The tastefully furnished main open plan living area is in the original cob part of the building. Newly decorated, the room has reclaimed oak flooring and contains a double bed, beside cabinets, table and chairs, sofa, storage, desk and tv. There is ample parking and WiFi is included.
Copplestone is situated right in the middle of Devon - a 10 minute drive west of Crediton on the A377, a main route into the City of Exeter (11 miles). A stone’s throw to the southwest is Dartmoor National Park and Exmoor to the north, a little farther away. There is a Post Office/Convenience store and Farm Shop in the village with larger supermarkets, a regular Farmers Market and wide variety of independent shops in nearby Crediton. The property is located 1.5 miles from the centre of the village and is located slightly off the beaten track – accessed via an unmade lane. The track is a little bumpy with some potholes (so not ideal for low profile cars) but the landscape and natural surroundings well worth it!
The annex would suit a professional, non-smoking person seeking comfortable, quiet, countryside temporary accommodation. The owners live in the adjoining barn and have a friendly dog.
