Large Double - Peaceful- Short Stay -Exeter

Until recently I have been welcoming foreign students for the Exeter Academy of English. From Israel and India to Italy and beyond, I am delighted to welcome all nationalities.

This really is the perfect place for someone whom is looking for peace and quiet and clean and tidy. Everything is ready for you, just turn up with your luggage. Delighted to welcome short term renters for one month whilst they find long term accommodation, self Isolate or need as a stop gap.
Think of this more of an Air bnb/hotel.

As owner / occupier I’m looking to let one room in my 3 bedroomed house
This should give lots of space. There are two bathrooms so you could have your own however the shower in the main bathroom needs to be shared.

Choice of rooms:
Compact deluxe double.
The smallest and arguably the best room in the house this is super cosy with thick carpet and is at the back of the house overlooking the garden. Super King bed with cotton linen, wardrobe, four drawers underneath the bed, study desk, work light, chair, bedroom chair and access to loft for large suitcase storage.
Huge Room to front.
This room is vast and is situated at the front of the house facing the road. Some occasional noice as people leave for work.
Massive queen size bed with natural fibres. Dressed with cotton bed linen. Bedside lights, study desk and chair, wardrobes etc and all you should need. Enough space for a sofa and another table should you wish. I’m happy to make sure you have everything you need.

The house is in muted greys and white in French/ Italian style mostly to wooden or slate floors.
There is a large bathroom with huge and I mean huge, walk in rain shower, rolltop Victorian bath, toilet and sink. Downstairs closet with toilet and sink. Dining room / lounge seats 8 people with open fire.
Kitchen has all you need with use of utensils, pots and pans, silver cutlery, and a mix of vintage and new china.

Small private Garden furnished with a metal table, seats and chair.
Shed for bike storage/ surf boards.

Evening meals available on request at an extra charge.
Weekly cleaner for main areas and your room cleaned every two weeks with a bed linen change. Complimentary soaps and shampoo, disher washer tabs, washing up liquid, laundry soap, bin liners and all the boring stuff provided so you don’t have extras to think about.

The university campus is 20 minutes walk, St Luke’s Campus a 14 minutes walk, City centre is 10 minutes walk and the RDE hospital a 20 minute walk. There are bus stops moments away with good links for city centre travel and beyond. A 2 minute walk to blackboy rd bus stop for regular buses to Honiton Rd business park and the Met office. Tesco metro, John Lewis, Waitrose, Bestway Turkish shop are close by and the Co op Foodstore
is 2 minutes walk.
