Description
Hi,
When my flat sale fell through I changed my plans and have decided to rent out my two spare rooms to lodgers, initially to share with me, in my home.
My plan for the new year, is to buy a mobile home, to spend time travelling/working remotely, and weekends away with my cats and I'll continue to use my home as my base, in the short term..
My plan within the next 12 months is to travel abroad and find some where sunny to spend more of my time. Seriously considering emigrating to Turkey, but first I need to try it for a few months, then the task will be to find the right place for me to call home. .
The small double room will be ready from end December, for a quiet, tidy and respectful lodger either full time or Monday to Friday for short or long term let, with potential to be long term..
The larger twin room will also become available for a quiet, tidy and respectful lodger from Jan 1st 2025.
I have temporarily, moved into my lounge and am using the space as my office/bedroom (I work as a counsellor online). The lounge is therefore temporarily unavailable as shared space, whilst I am in situ.
All rooms are immaculate/homely/clean and uncluttered, with work/desk space.
> I keep a clean, tidy and quiet house and I will welcome "lodgers" to share with me in the first instance, who might consider becoming "tenants" to share as I move on to "pastures new".
> The rooms are bright and airy, one a cosy double room, the other a larger twin room.
Comfy beds, cupboards for storage and hanging rail and storage, bedside tables.
Small fridge
Small electric stove effect heater in the small double room and radiator and heater in the twin room.
Fast speed cable broadband .
> Full use of kitchen/diner incl dishwasher, washing machine/drier, microwave etc and plenty of personal storage space in freezer and fridge and own cupboards.
> I have a little balcony space to enjoy some outside space. (I look after the communal garden area on the ground floor too, so the outside area is well cared for and full of colour during the summer).
Once I find my sunshine retreat some time next year, I will arrange for my home to be maintained and managed.
Likewise I will arrange for a cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness of the shared space.
Council Tax Band A.
The location:
> My home is in a quiet area of Heavitree in Exeter, with plenty of FREE PARKING.
> Perfect for THE MET OFFICE, Sowton Ind Est, Exeter Business Park, South West Water at Pynes Hill, RD&E Hospital, St Lukes Campus of Exeter University and Middlemoor.
Convenient for The City Centre too.
> City centre 20/25 min walk or there is a regular bus service directly into The City Centre; very convenient bus stop with regular pic ups every 10 mins into town or down to the Quay.
> The Polsloe Bridge Train Stop is a five minute walk away. (Handy for an Exmouth commute).
> Convenient for M5(J30)/A30/A38/A303.
Heavitree Park is just 5 mins walk away to enjoy a bit of "Park life".
I have provided x 2 bike huts for bike storage outside.
I have two very friendly cats (Sugar & Spice). Sadly Spice is blind, so whilst we are in situ, we need lodgers/potential tenants who are pet friendly and considerate towards a cute cat who's become a little nervous. (My intention is to take them travelling)..
I am looking forward to hearing from you with any questions and hopefully meet you for a viewing.
Kindest Regards
Tina
RE the VIDEO in the ad... it was made last year. I was in a similar situation, I hope the text describes my up to date situation.
