Spacious Georgian home in central Exeter

Hi, I’m Nat. My housemate has now moved on and so I’m on the hunt for a new one for a short term 3-4 month let.

My place is a Georgian townhouse in a leafy, hidden away square in central Exeter.. Here you are just minutes away on foot from the centre of town, the university campus, both railway stations with mainline services to London Paddington and regional services, as well as the River Exe and quay for walks and cycles.

You would be sharing the house with just me, a teacher at a local secondary school, and a well-trained and affectionate 4 year old working yellow Labrador. Both myself and the dog split our time quite equally between home and my partner’s house nearby.

I’m into hiking, the outdoors and cooking/eating good food! I am also part of a local Dartmoor mountain rescue team and the dog is a trainee search and rescue dog. Consequently, we spend most weekends away training around the country.

I am letting the top floor of my house, which comprises a double room next-door to a smaller double room that you can use as a private sitting room or study.

I’m looking for £750 p/m for both rooms. I’m afraid I don’t want to let to two separate people, if that makes sense. The room would suit someone who would like their own TV/ chill room or somewhere quiet to study or work that is separate to their bedroom. There is a large bathroom on the second floor, with a big claw footed bath, which is shared when I am at home. There is also a garden and a garage which you could use to store a bike etc.

Being so central, car parking is on the surrounding streets only with a residents permit. The property is on a pedestrian only byway so there is no driveway and you cannot park right outside the house.
