Hello! I'm Katie, I'm a 34 year old female living in my two bedroom, first floor flat. I'm pretty outdoorsy and like running, hiking and camping! I also enjoy an evening in (to recover!) and watching a film with a glass of wine. I'm an Occupational Therapist and work regular hours Monday-Friday. I'm looking for a friendly professional / mature student to rent my spare bedroom.
The flat is furnished and the spare bedroom (your bedroom) will come with a double bed, bedside table and wardrobe. There is also an aerial point in the room if you wish to have a TV in your bedroom.
The bathroom, living room and kitchen will all be shared. The bathroom is a good size and includes a shower over the bath. The living room / kitchen is open plan and there is a Juliette balcony. The kitchen has everything you'd expect; fridge freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a dual washing machine / drier and gas central heating throughout.
I have two allocated parking spaces in a small car park at the rear of the flats (I use one of the spaces), there is also space to park on the road outside the flat (no permit/payment required). There is no where within the flat to store a bike - there is an outside bike rack or some of the other flats store their bikes in the communal hallway.
All bills, including council tax and WiFi are included in the price. Monday-Friday lets will be considered at a reduced price (please send me a message for more details).
Preferably a minimum term of two months but shorter lets considered.
My flat is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a block of six flats. My neighbours are all very friendly and will happily take a parcel in for you if you are out. Polsloe Bridge train station is a 5 minute walk which has direct links to Exeter City Centre and Exmouth. The city centre can also be easily accessed by buses or is a 25minute walk.
If you have any questions or are interested in viewing the flat please send me a message. A female housemate would be preferred as I'm female but males considered. Non-smokers only please. Rent to be paid monthly on a rolling monthly contract.
I'm looking to go travelling from January 2026 so will be renting out the whole flat from this date - therefore the room is available under the current terms until the end of December 2025 (shorter lets considered). If you would be looking to stay longer than December 2025 then the term from January 2026 would increase to a minimum 12 month period. Let me know if you have any questions :)
