The House & Facilities
You’ll be sharing a well-maintained home with a garden, patio, and plenty of communal space:
Your Room: An unfurnished double room, ready for you to make your own.
Kitchen: Fully stocked with all appliances, cutlery, and crockery. You’ll have dedicated fridge and cupboard space.
Bathroom: Shared with only two other housemates.
Living Area: Shared access to a comfortable lounge with a large TV.
Outdoor Space: Garden access with a patio, tables, and chairs—perfect for summer.
Parking: Available nearby (lay-by spaces) or via a free permit on Chiefs game days.
The Housemates
You’ll be joining three professionals (ages 30s–50s) including an NHS worker, a University physics lab technician, and a remote programmer. We are a friendly, respectful, and easy-going group.
We value a tidy home and clean up after ourselves in communal areas so they’re ready for the next person. We have a robot vacuum to keep the downstairs floors in check.
The Details (The Legal Bit)
Rent & Bills: Rent includes all bills and fast broadband. Note: Bills are split equally; if utility costs change significantly, this component may be adjusted. Rent increases are subject to landlord notice.
Contract: You will be added to our Assured Periodic Tenancy (APT) for the duration of your tenancy.
Process: Paperwork will be dealt with via the letting agency MartinCo (Exeter).
Admin: There is a £50 contract amendment fee to add a new tenant to the house agreement.
