The house is situated close to the University, St Lukes, R, D & E Hospital, Council offices and the Police HQ which are all walking distance and the Met Office, EDF and Sowton which are a short bus ride away. Buses to the centre of the city pass the house.

All bills except gas and electricity are included in the rent and these are shared equally between all tenants as and when they come in.
