Description

Available from Saturday 5th January 2026. LGBT friendly house. Preference for quiet, tidy, friendly, professional, who must be comfortable with a super friendly dog.

"Having lived in my fair share of flatshares, this has by far been my favourite. Real welcoming and friendly household, with room to feel comfortable and socialise as well as have your own space when needed [...] Location is super convenient. The adorable pup is a welcome bonus. Would recommend to anyone looking for more of a home and not your standard room-to-rent." JH

Large private second floor double bedroom in a friendly, unpretentious (bit shabby) house, with original white painted floorboards, a desk, a chest of drawers, open wardrobe and IKEA kallax storage unit as well as large reclaimed shelves. Futon company platform bed with mattress softener. Also included is a large infra red heater - which heats objects rather than the air, creating for a more comfortable environment.

This house has a shared living room and a large kitchen with butcher's block kitchen island, dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine. The house is spacious with a mixture of vintage and upcycled furniture (the sofa is held together with duct tape) with original 150 year old floorboards. It's a nice relaxed space with a modern upcycled minimalist industrial feel. If you like hipster coffee bars, you'll probably like this space.

A real woodburner makes for cosy winter evenings in the living room. Dog. It's a place to feel comfortable, relaxed, uncluttered. If you want things to be pristine, this is maybe not the perfect place for you! But if you want a relaxed vibe, friendly without being in your face, this is a good choice.

There is a large bathroom with twin sinks, with good shower which is on the ground floor.

There is wifi and 100mb broadband; a 50 inch TV.

17m of back garden with hammock in Summer. The house is in a quiet, friendly street near St Thomas precinct (Cowick street is less than 5 minutes away) with easy access to bus services going into town.

I have a reasonably well behaved super friendly dog, a cockapoo, so you MUST like and enjoy dogs to live here.

Vaping is fine in your bedroom.

Any questions, feel free to text me and I'll answer them.
