We have a lovely double rooms (for single single occupancy only) available in our 4 bedroomed house in Heavitree, only 3 minutes walk from RD&E or St Lukes campus of the University of Exeter and 2 mins' walk from Tescos on Fore St, Heavitree. A new kitchen has recently been installed, and the bathroom has been fully reburbished this year.
The room is on the first floor of the house, at the back. It has a wardrobe, small double bed, chest of drawers, lamp and bedside cabinet. The rent is £585 per month including bills, and the room is available from 7 January 2026. .
There are 4 bedrooms in all - two on the top floor, and two on the first floor, accommodating 4 housemates when fully occupied.
The house has wireless broadband throughout and a 32" TV in the sitting room. All charges for broadband (Sky), TV, electricity, gas, water and council tax are included in the rent. There is a garden, maintained by a gardener throughout the year, with outdoor furniture for enjoying the sunshine, and a dry shed in the garden for storage. The recently refitted kitchen has a washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and microwave as well as cooker and a big fridge. The house has a newly refurbished family bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, and there is also a cloakroom with toilet and basin, so plenty of washing facilities.
We will place your deposit with the Deposit Protection Service - one of the Government approved schemes - and will take up employment and previous renting references, but we will cover the cost of this.
We are looking for professional people or postgraduate students - individuals who get on well with others and are prepared to keep the house clean and tidy. If you smoke that's OK, but you must do it outside. Sorry - no pets because of the allergies of other tenants.
Parking: there is a parking space immediately outside the house for one car which is being used by one of the housemates at the moment. Otherwise, you can apply to the Council to request a parking permit for the area around the house. The cost is about £30 per year.
