Rare availability in our historic working farmhouse. We rent out 2 light and airy, large bedrooms with private shower rooms.

We will have 1 large kingsize room available, with ensuite shower room.

There is a lovely small communal kitchenette and living room with cosy log burner and comfy sofas for our 2 lodgers. Shared entrance, hallway and stairs for our lodgers.

We have a great location. We are set back from the main Totnes - Kingsbridge/Dartmouth road so easy access to the whole of South Devon but we also have land, with lots of space to walk and spend time outdoors if you like.

Our lodgers share a stairway and a living/dining/kitchenette with wood burner. Inc kettle, toaster, electric hobs, air fryer and microwave. Comfy sofas and a dining table. A lovely space to relax in and call your own.

Monthly cleaner included for communal areas, who will happily add you room on to their clean for an additional charge.

You are welcome to use our washing machine on arrangement.

Great base for working people. Will only consider lodgers who work or spend time away from the house at least part of the day. No home workers, sorry.

We'd love to hear from you if you need a base for a few months or years and are flexible and easy going.

Prices include gas, electric, council tax and wifi. There is central heating (mornings and evenings, in winter ONLY) and double glazing but our house is a farmhouse, it is big and old, woolys required in winter and fire making skills a bonus. We consider our carbon footprint and would prefer to put a jumper on than crank up the heating.

You will need private transport (a car or mopede/motorbike) if you come to live with us due to our rural location.

Couples are welcome at an extra 30% on top of room charge.

Short stays are welcome at a premium.
