Seeking a considerate and friendly female lodger in a busy family home in an accessible village location between Wellington and Honiton.

The room is light and airy with great views over the garden and countryside beyond. It would make an ideal base if you’re working from home. It’s also available as a Mon-Fri let for £130 per week.

The house is very spacious, with a great garden with summerhouse and plenty of places to sit outside. It’s by a stream and we have ducks, chickens and cats free ranging. Lodger living room (shared) as well as family living room. Piano to play if you’re keen on that. In the kitchen you would have fridge and cupboard space and use of all kitchen appliances and utensils. Use of washing machine and hanging rack.

Parking always available on street and garage is available for a bike or motorbike.

Local amenities in Hemyock include Spar shop and post office, tennis courts, hairdressers, bus stop and local pub all within 5 minutes walk. Although there is a bus, it's fairly infrequent so having your own transport is pretty much essential.

Rent includes all bills and council tax and superfast broadband. For a Mon-Fri let, cleaning and bedding is included in the rent amount.

About us: We’re a busy family at college, school and work. I work in a school near Exeter and my 2 (late teenage) kids live at home. We also have another lodger living with us too.

About you: We’re looking for someone who is working or a student that we all get on with and who would be a considerate and tidy lodger. Preferably someone who doesn’t mind cats and definitely a non-smoker.

Most importantly is that we get on, so please give me as much information about you as you can when you get in touch.

References will be required. Deposit and one month’s rent would be required before moving in. Proof of full-time employment will be needed (3 month’s payslips or a reference). The room is available from 6th October.
